U.S. Authorities Arrest Afghan Immigrant for Alleged Suicide Bomb Threat in Texas via TikTok

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced the arrest of an Afghan immigrant who allegedly threatened to carry out a suicide bombing in Texas during a live broadcast on TikTok.
The individual, identified as Muhammad Dawood Alkozi, entered the United States in September 2022 under the "Welcome Allies" program initiated by the Biden administration.
Trisha McAuliffe, Assistant Secretary for Homeland Security, stated on the platform X that Alkozi was apprehended last Tuesday, just one day before the planned attack aimed at U.S. National Guard forces.
According to reports, Alkozi posted a TikTok video in which he claimed to be constructing a bomb and threatened to execute the attack in the Fort Worth area.
The Texas Public Safety Police and a joint FBI task force intervened, leading to charges of making terrorist threats.
In the video, Alkozi expressed his intention to carry out a suicide bombing in the U.S., stating he was unafraid of deportation or death. He also threatened a group of Afghans over disputes regarding nationality and disclosed his location in Dallas and Fort Worth.
* Official Comments and Immigration Crisis
White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt commented on the incident, stating it underscores the severity of the national security crisis left by the Biden administration over the past four years.
She noted that former President Donald Trump had directed his team to address such threats within the U.S.
This incident follows a previous attack by an Afghan immigrant against National Guard members in Washington, resulting in one soldier's death and serious injuries to another.
In response to the attack, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced an indefinite suspension of all immigration applications from Afghan citizens, while the Department of Homeland Security reviewed all asylum applications approved during the Biden administration.
Former President Trump also declared a permanent suspension of immigration from all third-world countries until "American order is fully restored," according to his statements.
