Samsung Introduces Galaxy S26 Ultra with Innovative Privacy Feature

Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which will include a groundbreaking feature aimed at enhancing user privacy. This new capability leverages artificial intelligence to ensure that content displayed on the screen remains private.
According to leaks regarding the One UI 8.5 interface, the feature, called “Privacy Screen,” reduces screen visibility from side angles, making it difficult for bystanders to view the content. When activated, the screen appears darker, as reported by SamMobile, a technology news outlet.
This feature can be easily activated via the settings app or through a dedicated button in the quick settings panel, with options for automatic activation based on user preferences.
It can also be integrated with various modes and routines, allowing it to turn on automatically when the user is outside their home or office.
This innovation is expected to rely on a next-generation OLED panel and may utilize the Flex Magic Pixel technology that Samsung first showcased at the Mobile World Congress in early 2024.
However, it remains unclear whether this feature will be available across all models in the Galaxy S26 series or exclusively in the Ultra version.
Currently, no other smartphone on the market offers a comparable feature, positioning the Galaxy S26 Ultra as a potential leader in smartphone screen privacy.
