Shooting at Funeral in Salt Lake City Leaves Two Dead and Several Injured

Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah, witnessed a tragic incident on Wednesday when unidentified individuals opened fire in a church parking lot during a funeral. The shooting resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left several others injured, including three in critical condition, according to local law enforcement.
A police spokesperson reported that the altercation began within the parking area before escalating into gunfire. Authorities are currently pursuing the suspects and interviewing witnesses who were present at the funeral.
The police have confirmed that the incident was not a religiously motivated attack, clarifying that the church involved is affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons).
Additionally, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has announced its support in the investigation as officials work to ascertain the motives behind the shooting and the final count of victims.
