The White House spokesperson, Caroline Levitt, sparked controversy after she sarcastically responded to a question about who chose the location for the upcoming meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying: "Your mother."

The meeting is scheduled to take place in Budapest, Hungary, to discuss ways to end the war in Ukraine, amid questions regarding the arrest warrant issued against Putin by the International Criminal Court.

Levitt's response was not limited to sarcasm; she also delivered a scathing critique of the journalist, describing him as a "leftist extremist who is not taken seriously," which surprised those present and reignited the discussion about the tension between the White House and the critical media.
