Officials from Venezuela's state oil company stated on Saturday that oil production and refining activities are continuing as normal, despite recent U.S. strikes targeting various locations in the country.
According to executives, the oil facilities have not sustained direct damage, allowing operations to proceed without disruption.
However, one official indicated that La Guaira Port experienced significant damage from the attacks, which may impact shipping and export operations in the near future.
These remarks are part of Caracas's efforts to reassure markets regarding the oil sector's stability amid ongoing military and political tensions with the United States.
