Damascus University Among the Top 2% of Scientists Worldwide According to Stanford and Elsevier Rankings

Damascus University has achieved a significant academic milestone by being listed among the top 2% of scientists around the world, according to a ranking issued by Stanford University in collaboration with the global research institution Elsevier, which is one of the most prominent internationally recognized scientific rankings.

This recognition came as a result of five of the university's researchers being selected for the list, based on scientific research attributed exclusively to Damascus University, reflecting the quality of research output and academic excellence that the university achieves despite challenges.

The ranking relies on precise indicators including the number of citations, research impact, publication in peer-reviewed journals, and specific scientific disciplines, making the university's entry into this list a global testament to the efficiency of its research staff.
