Recent reports circulating on various websites and social media have suggested that Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab is set to return to the music scene by performing the theme song for the Ramadan series 'Ali Clay', featuring actor Ahmed El Awady. This news has generated considerable excitement among her fans.

The production company addresses the rumors

However, a reliable source from the production company has firmly denied these claims, stating in exclusive comments that Sherine Abdel Wahab will not be contributing to any aspect of the series, including the opening or closing theme songs.

The source clarified that the company has secured contracts with artists Mohamed Adawiya and Yara Mohamed to perform the theme songs, emphasizing that the rumors regarding Sherine's involvement are unfounded.

Overview of 'Ali Clay'

In related news, lead actor Ahmed El Awady previously clarified that the series does not depict the life of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali. He stated that his character is a boxer who runs an orphanage and experiences significant psychological challenges, ultimately requiring treatment for psychosis, all within a dramatic social context.

Cast details

The series features an actress portraying El Awady's wife, a businesswoman who owns auto parts shops in the Tawfiqia market. Actress Intisar plays his mother, while actor Tarek El Desouki takes on the role of his father. The cast also includes notable actors such as Bayoumi Fouad, Yara El Sokari, and Essam El Sakka, among others.

Production information

'Ali Clay' is written by Mahmoud Hamdan and directed by Mohamed Abdel Salam. It is set to premiere during the upcoming Ramadan season, generating significant public interest amid ongoing discussions about its plot and cast.
