Rami Ayash Reflects on Challenging Interview with Sherine Abdel Wahab

Lebanese artist Rami Ayash has described his 2017 interview with fellow musician Sherine Abdel Wahab as the most challenging of his career, stating he wishes he could erase it entirely. This revelation came during an exclusive appearance on the show "Al-Masar" on Lebanese channel LBC.
Ayash recounted that the interview, which aired on her popular program "Shery Studio", was marred by Sherine's unfamiliarity with filming protocols. He noted that her unpredictable behavior, characterized by frequent interruptions and bouts of laughter, adversely affected the overall quality of the segment.
Despite the difficulties, Ayash continued with the episode out of respect for the show's director. He expressed his relief upon its conclusion, wishing Sherine a swift recovery and a return to her audience, while also lamenting the decision to air the interview.
In addition to his reflections on the interview, Ayash mentioned an attempt to collaborate with Sherine on a condolence song following the death of George Wassouf's son. Although he agreed to participate, the project ultimately did not come to fruition.
Ayash emphasized that a singer's ability to perform is not the sole factor in securing a television program, suggesting that professionalism and artistic preparedness are equally crucial during interviews.
