Netanyahu: Trump Demands Hamas Disarmament Without Concessions

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after returning from a visit to Washington, stated that U.S. President Donald Trump has set a "clear and essential condition" for the complete disarmament of Hamas, emphasizing that the United States will not make any concessions regarding this matter.

Netanyahu remarked, "The fundamental condition is that Hamas must disarm," explaining that this requirement is part of a 20-point American plan. He noted that discussions with Trump demonstrated significant understanding and mutual support, covering regional developments and the ongoing situation in Gaza amid the current Israeli military operations that began in October 2023.

Netanyahu acknowledged that while disarming Hamas is a challenging objective, it is achievable, expressing confidence that a multinational force will successfully implement this condition.
