Moroccan airports experienced a record influx of 36.3 million passengers in 2025, reflecting an 11% rise compared to 2024, according to the National Airports Office.
This significant growth is largely attributed to Morocco hosting the Africa Cup of Nations finals in 2025, which drew a considerable number of fans from around the globe, thereby boosting air travel and tourism to unprecedented levels.
The report highlighted several airports that achieved record passenger numbers during the year, including:
- Casablanca Airport: the largest and busiest airport in Morocco.
- Rabat–Salé Airport: noted for its substantial increase in air traffic.
- Marrakech Airport: a key tourist hub that capitalized on the tourism surge associated with the tournament.
