Manchester City Remains in Title Hunt After Draw with Tottenham

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, expressed his disappointment following his team's 2-2 draw against Tottenham on Sunday, which extended the gap to league leaders Arsenal to six points. Nevertheless, he affirmed that there remains a chance to reclaim the top position.
City initially took control of the match with two first-half goals from Ryan Cherki and Anwan Simino. However, Tottenham fought back in the second half, with an own goal from Marc Guéhi and a stunning strike from Dominic Solanke, ultimately securing a draw and leaving Manchester City with 47 points.
In comments to "Sky Sports," Guardiola stated:
"We are performing at a high level, but we have not maintained the consistency needed to secure victories like others have. However, we still have 14 matches left to close the gap with Arsenal."
He added: "The match was good, and after conceding the goal, we encountered some challenges, but we managed to respond. Overall, the performance was strong, and it’s unfortunate we couldn't secure the win."
Despite the draw, Manchester City remains hopeful in the title race, with Guardiola confidently noting that the remaining 14 matches could provide enough opportunities to overtake Arsenal.
