Israel Claims Iran is Rearming Hezbollah and Houthis Amid Rising Tensions

Israeli officials have accused Iran of intensifying efforts to rearm its military forces following a recent conflict. An Israeli security official stated in an interview that Iran is working to restore its military capabilities after what it claims was a successful defense against Israeli attacks last June.
The official noted that Iran is "racing against time" to replenish its arsenal, fearing further Israeli operations on its soil. He indicated that Iran is supplying weapons to both the Houthis in Yemen and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Additionally, the official revealed that Iran has increased arms smuggling activities into the West Bank, aiming to facilitate operations within Israel. He confirmed that Tehran is also focused on enhancing the military strength of the Houthis and providing arms to various groups in Syria in anticipation of renewed hostilities with Israel.
Concerning Hezbollah, the security source emphasized that Iran recognizes the likelihood of Israeli action after December 31, the deadline for disarming the group, which could further escalate the arms race and heighten concerns for Israeli security agencies.
In June, Israel conducted a surprise operation targeting Iranian military installations and nuclear sites, along with assassinations of key Iranian military figures. This operation was seen as a significant breach of Iran's security.
Since that incident, Iranian officials have claimed to have rebuilt and even enhanced their military capabilities, asserting that they are now "more powerful and effective" than before the Israeli strikes.
